THEATRE SHOW

Toplocentrala, Sofia (BG)

Wonderspace Future

Multimedia theatre show on astrobiology

Wonderspace Future is a multimedia theatre performance exploring the theme of life in space. In a fun, exciting, and unexpected way, the show delves into different aspects of life beyond Earth.

In the near future, humanity is reaching for the stars, and the first child born in space, Mira, has become a symbol of hope and technological progress. Growing up on the Icarus orbital station, she is a global phenomenon – an influencer, an experiment, and an icon of the future.

As society elevates her to near-mythical status, Mira begins to question her role. Deprived of true choice, she longs for Earth — a world she has never touched but which calls to her with its mystery. Meanwhile, two lovable alien explorers, Flip and Flop, stumble upon the planet and see it as the perfect place to grow tea.

Blending philosophical reflection, social satire, and science fiction, the play raises profound questions about human identity, isolation, and the price of progress. All of this is infused with sharp humor and fascinating insights. Will Mira embrace the destiny imposed upon her, or will she carve out her own path?

WORKSHOP

DOX: Center for Contemporary Art, Prague

AI as Ghostwriter, AI as Story Architect: A Hands-On Workshop in Human-AI Creative Collaboration

ZIP-Scene Conference on Immersive Storytelling vol. 8.

This workshop invites participants to test, in practice, the question this conference poses in theory: where does authenticity live when a story is co-authored by a machine? The workshop's premise is that authenticity in AI-assisted narrative is not a matter of origin but of where interpretive labor sits in the collaboration, and the only way to feel that distinction is to work through it directly.

WORKSHOP

Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok 2050: Interactive Stories for Better Futures

The 19th International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling (ICIDS) brings together researchers, artists and practitioners exploring the future of narrative, interactivity and digital worlds.

Bangkok 2050: Interactive Stories for Better Futures is a three-hour, in-person workshop exploring the applied use of Interactive Digital Storytelling (IDS) as a tool for imagining and prototyping positive urban futures for Bangkok. The workshop combines elements of speculative design, interactive digital narrative design, and creative problem solving. Its central premise is that narrative systems can be used not only to represent possible futures, but also to help participants examine present-day urban challenges, test alternative responses, and communicate pathways toward sustainable and socially desirable change.

How to Become Einstein in One Hour?

Interactive storytelling performance on creativity

Be Creative or Die!

The boom in artificial intelligence over the past years has made creativity and creative thinking the most important human skills. These skills alone can guarantee us prosperity and fulfillment in our rapidly arriving techno-future. The jobs of billions of people will be threatened by technology. The solution and our successful adaptation depend on our creativity.

Many people believe that being creative is difficult and a talent that only a lucky few are born with. Modern science demonstrates that this is not the case. Creativity and creative thinking are skills that we can successfully develop. How to Become Einstein in an Hour? is a fun and engaging exploration of one of humanity’s most creative minds. The show reveals the principles behind Einstein’s genius and demonstrates how they apply to every field of human activity.

The authors of the show have the ambitious task of turning every member of the audience into an expert on creativity in just one hour. Ready to take on the challenge and prepare for the future?

My
Story

A few words about my professional journey.

Hello,

My name is Dimitar Uzunov and I'm an extremely curious person. I'm passionate about so many things and I love sharing my passions through stories and experiences.

In 2008, I founded the Famille Mundi theatre company in Paris. I worked with creatives from more than twenty countries and together we won the Young Talent of Paris prize twice.

I'm a co-founder of Sofia-based Arte Urbana Collectif and Summer Scriptwriting Base, an immersive international summer school for the storytellers of today and tomorrow.

I'm also the founder and director of the Theatre & Science platform and the interdisciplinary art-and-science festival Theatre of Wonder in Bulgaria.

More recently, I coordinated the European project Please ASK! – Art Science Kick, dedicated to creating stage productions through collaboration between artists, scientists and scientific institutions.

I'm also a licensed tour guide and love to share the history of Sofia and Bulgaria through storytelling walks.

I have lectured, delivered keynote talks and facilitated workshops in more than 20 countries around the world. My workshop "Creative Storytelling: How to Create and Tell a Good Story" was selected by ERIC magazine as one of the 10 best creative events in London in September 2018.
